I was so pleased when I saw on the news you are running for the Labour Leadership. I sincerely hope you are successful. As a Labour supporter for 35 years I have been completely disillusioned over the past 10 years to a point where I had decided never to vote Labour again with the possibility of voting Tory just to get Tony Blair and Gordon Brown out. Thatcher came to power in 1979, the year I was born. In 1997 I was 18, the first year I could vote and Labour were in power for the first time in my life. Anything seemed possible.
