I am from Scandinavia and the social gaps in Britain are worse than in Scandinavia. Britain is charming in the lovely places where I have lived. But some of the dumps I've occassionally passed through are unbelievable: The buildings, the look in peoples faces, the apalling standard of eduction and the way that these people speak and behave. You could take these people out of the ghetto, but it may not be possible to get the ghetto out of them, at least not within one generation. After watching American TV shows and [propaganda] all their lives, these people probably wouldn't see that socialism could help them. They know from TV that it's bad.
