Given: the &#039;legally binding&#039; commitment to CO2 reduction entered into by the last (Labour) govt.; the lack of investment in energy over the last 13 yrs; and the life expectancy of current coal &amp; nuclear power stations - there is little alternative to rapid deployment of new nuclear - unless you want to see the &#039;lights go out&#039;.

The priority should be to work on the fusion alternative - go visit Culham</description>
