I am glad I am not the only person to have raised an eye brow when this announcement was made.

Here's another announcement that has not been publicised. At the Health Select Committee last week Stephen Dorrell said that the government is working on a policy for co-pay for NHS treatment. This will be the end of "free at the point of delivery".

What irony that a Conservative government who could not even gain a majority will destroy the greatest achievement of this country: free and equitable healthcare. Burnham should not weep, he should get angry, very angry.
